Most Europeans are aware of illegal immigrants, but not the underlying factors that drive illegal immigration to their countries.
I will never support entering any country illegally, and I do not condone illegal immigration. However, this level of illegal immigration wouldn’t exist if Europeans had treated the immigrants’ home countries justly.
Take Niger, for instance. Niger is a major source of energy for France, yet Niger itself lacks access to adequate energy resources.
I don’t see the immigration problem disappearing anytime soon. It will persist until there is equity between Europe and the countries immigrants come from.
No one willingly leaves the comfort of their home country.
