Protecting Women Is Protecting Humanity

Over 60 million women and girls worldwide face unimaginable violence due to forced displacement and statelessness. From the sexual violence reported in the Democratic Republic of Congo to the exploitation on Mediterranean migration routes, the global epidemic of gender-based violence (GBV) reveals a grim reality.

UNHCR reports that conflict-related sexual violence cases rose by 50% last year, with most survivors unable to report their experiences due to stigma or lack of access to justice.

This must change, and here’s how we can help:

  • Raise Awareness. Do not let GBV remain invisible. Speak up and educate others.
  • Support Women-Led Organizations. Contribute to local and global initiatives empowering women.
  • Donate. Organizations like UNHCR depend on funding to protect and assist survivors.

DONATE NOW TO SUPPORT UNHCR

Women’s bodies are not battlegrounds. Saving their lives means saving our future. Let us amplify this message and stand in solidarity with those who need us most.
