Addressing the Challenges of Illegal Immigration: A Case for Repatriation

The govts of many countries decided to repatriate illegal Afghan, Syrian and Moroccan immigrants and has solid reasoning behind it. According to the #UN Commission for Refugees, there are 3.7 million Afghan, Syrian and Moroccan refugees residing in Turkey of which approximately 1.1 million lack proper legal documentation.

People without records with the government find it much easier to engage in criminal activities or change their locations illicitly. Therefore, I believe this decision should be made promptly.

However, due to security concerns, no country in the world can tolerate illegal immigration. In a single year, Iran, Germany, the United States, and India collectively deported 650.000 illegal refugees. So, why shouldn’t Turkey follow suit?
